Lynnderella Lucky Numbers

Yeah, yeah, I know all the drama associated with this particular brand, and while fascinating, guess what? I don't care. Moving on! I wanted this particular polish because of the pinkish shimmer in the base, and I wasn't finding any other indie polishes similar to it to satisfy my lemming. I got it in the mail yesterday, and I knew I wanted to wear it right away! I didn't want to layer it over white like I've seen, just because I wanted something different for the first time I would be wearing it...so I chose gray and green. The base colors are China Glaze Recycle and Starboard. Now enjoy the pic spam!

Hope you liked it, and I managed to get my hands on a few other Lynns, so they should be popping up on the blog eventually!

I know I'm overdue, but I've brought you something new!

So I was watching YouTube tutorials the other day, and I got inspired to pull out my old 120 palette I purchased on eBay ages ago, and this was one of the looks I came up with. Pardon my blending, I just could not get it the way I wanted it. My inspiration was a sunset. So see, something new I've brought to my blog! I hope you guys don't hate it too much...

Excuse the wonky brows...they would not lay down.

Sorry about scaring you guys with my colored contacts! I have to wait until these are finished to reorder my clear ones...and I keep wearing my glasses a lot.

It definitely needed some more blending in the crease area, but I got a ton of compliments on this!
So, if I didn't scare you too much, would you guys like to see the occasional eye makeup post?

11 Question Meme

Hey Guys! I'm totally slacking on blogging mostly because I'm at home and have no polish with me except the OPI Ballet Collection, Zoya Shay, and Zoya Gaia. Lame, right? Well, my dad hates "colorful cosmetics" so I can't wear them when I'm staying at the house, so naked nails it is since I'm not up to using a sheer at the moment or a nude. So, I was tagged by Narmai at Made by me and I'm just getting around to doing this.

I. Each person must post 11 things about themselves on their blog.
II. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post.
III. Create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer.
IV. You have to choose 11 people to tag and link them on the post. Go to their page and tell them you have linked him or her. No tag backs, and you legitimately have to tag 11 people.

Ok first, 11 things about me:
  1. I have dual citizenship - US and Jamaica.
  2. I graduated from high school at 16, so I started college at 16.
  3. I have over 800 nail polishes.
  4. My favorite color in real life is green. In polish, I think it's blue. Or pretty much any shade with golden shimmer.
  5. I have 2 younger sisters.
  6. I've lived in Jamaica, the Bahamas, New York, Texas, and California.
  7. The place in the world I want to visit the most is England.
  8. Huge sci fi nerd. I think I've watched every Sy Fy Original series.
  9. I actually like math. So I'm not just a sci fi nerd, I'm an all around nerd.
  10. I had 2 proposals (yes, as in wedding) before I graduated from high school. And only one of them was actually in high school.
  11. Huge James Bond fan. It's like the only thing my Dad and I agree on. Soooooo amazing. I think my fave Bond is between Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery.
Now it's time for me to answer the questions posed to me!

Describe your ideal Sunday Morning.
-In bed. Or going for an early morning run to Swedish House Mafia, Kavinsky, and Flight Facilities.
Are you a fan of gadgets or do you stay away from technology?
-Umm...sci fi fan. I think that says it all.
What TV programme do you never ever miss?
-I actually don't really watch TV on the actual television. But two shows I absolutely keep up on are   Leverage and Burn Notice.
If you could invite anyone for a dinner, who would it be?
-My Grandpa. Both died when I was really little so I didn't get to know them.
Who was your childhood hero?
-Dad.
What three words would your best friend use to describe you?
-Energetic, Silly, People-Oriented
What would be your favorite place in the world to live?
-New York if not Jamaica. I grew up on Jamaican food, and I can get it in both places!
If you could be someone else for a day, who would you want to be?
-Kristen Wiig. She's so funny! I'm gonna miss her on SNL.
Where do you see yourself in three years? (annoying question, I know)
-Either working on my Master's or in Law School.
If you could change or erase something that happened in the past, what would you choose?
-Wow, this is a loaded question. I guess I never would have become a math major. I wasted 3 years on it before realizing I didn't like the teaching style of the entire department.
What's the best april fools joke you have pulled on someone or someone pulled on you?
-I don't think I've ever pulled one. Scrangie's are usually awesome though!

Creating 11 questions of my own....hmmmm....

What's your favorite color?
Do you know all the nationalities in your heritage?
What's the corniest joke you know?
What did you want to be when you grew up when you were younger?
How many polishes do you own? If you aren't into polish, what's your hobby?
What's your dream house like?
How many pairs of jeans do you own?
What's your favorite action movie?
What's the most you've ever spent on a beauty related product?
What's the furthest you've ever gone from home?
If you could design any nail polish, what would it look like?

Tagging 11 people...ummm....I can't. Seriously, I'm too lazy. So if you wanna do this and you would like to be tagged, shoot me a message on fb, leave a comment below, or something, and I can link to you.
