It's Totally Fort Worth It!

This lovely manicure was screwed up by my stupidity. If you zoom in, you can see the bubbles in my polish caused by my bottle falling over right before I applied it to my nails. Ick! But I love the color nonetheless!

2 coats OPI Its Totally Fort Worth It
1 coat Seche
Accent Nail: tape design w/Golden Rose Paris Holo Polish 118 topped with Seche

I love the base color here!! It's such a gorgeous grey shimmer with slightly peach shimmer particles in it. I know it probably doesn't show up on the pics here. One of my friends says its brown, not grey. It's a pretty diverse polish, and I love it!

Blue & Purple = Foolproof

Sorry this pic looks washed out, but I think it was the flash's fault. This manicure should have been sponsored by Rite Aid, because with the exception of Seche Vite, all the polishes were bought at Rite Aid. Speaking of Seche Vite, I bought another bottle today. My friends love it and my bottle is quickly being used up.

Colors Used:
2 coats W&W Fast Dry Saved By the Blue (you can get away with 1, but I used 2 out of habit)
1 coat Seche Vite
1 Coat W&W Wild Card/Invitation (scotch taped)
1 coat Seche Vite ( I had planned to stop after this)
1 coat NYC 105 Starry Silver Glitter (the blue and purple glitter matched my manicure colors)
1 final coat of Seche

 No flash.
With Flash. I think this pic is most true to color.

Found It!

I'm working on getting my pics uploaded, but in the meantime, here's an old manicure!

I used ChG Innocence for my base, the ChG Four Leaf Clover for my tips. After that, I wanted to see how Essie Kisses and Bises on a couple of nails.
Kisses and Bises is on the nail in the lower half of the pic.

Where Oh Where have my manicures gone?

Well, I've had 4 manicures since I last posted, but none of them have made it to the blog yet. Sorry about that. I have yet to find my card reader so that I can upload the pics from my digital cam, since it takes much better pics than my webcam. So I've already done my Pink wednesday manicure, but I can't upload it yet. I can't wait to show you what I've done with my nails! Hopefully, that will be soon.

Yes, Yes I did.

I went to Rite Aid today, and I bought new polish. Of course I did! SH were BOGO 1/2 off and W&W were 99 cents as always, with the exception of their fastdry line, which was 1.99. And then I got 2 NYC polishes for 99 cents each. Care to take a peek?
From L to R:  Essie: kisses and bises; Wet n Wild: Bijou Blue, Sparked, Lavender Creme, Caribbean Frost, Party of Five (so sparkly!); Sally Hansen complete salon manicure: Right Said Red, Shall We Dance?; NYC: Black Lace Creme, Starry Silver Glitter (super pretty sparkles!)

Expect to see these colors on my nails in the future!!

Hot Hot Lava!!

Yay!!  Blogger is finally back up!! So, yesterday's look is inspired by my desire to try my new China Glaze polishes that came in the mail!! I got 8 polishes in colors: Orange Knockout, Heart Broken (pink crackle), Crushed Candy (baby blue crackle), Cracked Concrete (grey crackle), Fault Line (purple crackle), Four Leave Clover, White on White, and Fairy Dust!! I haven't had a chance to use them all yet, but I will post pics when I do! Fairy Dust is officially my favorite sparkle topper....of all time.

On to my manicure! I wish it lasted longer, but it was my fault for trying to apply polish on top of my Orly Nailtrition, and two coats of it at that. Here's the order I applied my polish:
2 coats Orly Nailtrition
1 coat SH Hard as Nails
1 Coat ChG Bare if You Dare
1/2 Orange Knockout, 1/2 Bare if You Dare ( I used Orange knockout for the top half and Bare if You Dare for the lower half)
1 coat  Seche Vite to even out things
1 coat ChG Cracked Concrete
1 coat ChG Fairy Dust
1 coat Seche Vite

Did you want to see pics? Well here they are....
My index finger totally wrinkled right before i took this pic...argh. Never would have happened if I'd only used the Sally Hansen.
Sorry for the blurriness!! I could not get my cam to focus last night!

So, it totally looked cool, and I would love to try it out again with different color combinations. Hope you enjoyed it!

Really quickly, I just wanted to let you know that From Head to Foot is having a giveaway until May 15th. You can enter the giveaway here. You should enter, because it looks awesome!!! Good luck!!

Sweet Sugar Giveaway

Since I won Just B's giveaway, I'm even more inspired to enter giveaways! Sweet Sugar is having a giveaway, and you can enter here. Good luck!

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink and win Giveaways!!

Yes, that is a crackle/shatter polish. And no, it's not from OPI, China Glaze, or Barry M. This is a bottle of LaRosa Crackle Shatter Nail Lacquer in Hot Red, which is more like fuschia than red. It's still gorgeous. Unfortunately for you, I decided to pair it with Wet n Wild polish in Dream Poppy, which also happens to be a gorgeous color. However, the two don't look great together, at least not in my opinion.
See for yourself...

Here's my polish pattern:
2 coats Sally Hansen Hard as Nails
2 coats Dream Poppy (it is technically a one-coater, but I messed up so I did 2 coats)
1 coat Hot Red Crackle
No top coat (I'm taking this off tonight...why waste top coat?)

The exciting news is that I won Just B's Julep nail giveaway!! I won 3 nail polishes in the colors Amy, Gloria, and Natalie as well as Reveal, a nail growth revitalizing serum. I'm so excited! I won a giveaway! I figure I'll start investing in a couple more polishes and then when I get a certain number of followers, I'll host a giveaway of my own! Well, I'm off to figure out if I'm doing french tips for tomorrow or not!

My Fave Lipgloss...for now

So I just wanted to share one of my favorite lipglosses with you guys! I am in love with MAC's Dazzleglass Creme in Lightly Prancing!! I even use it on top of other lip glosses!
Here's a couple swatches for you:

It's a gorgeous peachy-gold color!! The only downfall of this is that I can feel the particles of glitter...not too bad, but sometimes it's just irritating. But the color is so worth it!!!
Here I am wearing it over a thin layer of Revlon Colorburst lip gloss in Rosegold:
Edit: I totally didn't realize that the Revlon lip gloss had worn off, so this is a swatch of Lightly Prancing on its own.

Sorry I just swiped it on in a rush, but it is a really gorgeous color!!!
