KBSHIMMER ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF NINE NEW POLISHES

KBShimmer is excited to announce the addition of 9 new colors to their 3-Free glitter polish line.  Owner Christy Rose says “With Easter, warmer weather, and Spring Break fast approaching February is the ideal time to introduce softer pastels to our line up, but also to add a splash of bold color.”

The spring lineup includes three glitter top coats, two bold jellies, and four creamy pastels, one of which is scented.  “Our new line was created to play off the softer palette of spring, but also to accent unique glitters like small black dots and spring 2013 Pantone colors like the color of the year, Emerald Green.  We are also excited to debut this collection in our new printed bottles.  With the printed bottles, and our glitter grabbing flat brush, we feel our polish is a solid addition to any collection.” says Rose.

Nubar Blueberry Pt. 2

Ok, so remember me telling you about how I used Nubar Blueberry as the base for some awesome layering? Here's the first part of what I layered over it: Hare Afterglow!! I got my first Hares from one of the lovely ladies in one of my polish groups and Afterglow is the only one I've used so far.

Words can't describe it (I'm sure they could, but I'm terrible at descriptions) so here's a macro shot:

This is in direct light, so it looks a bit lighter here than it really is.

The next few photos didn't come out too well, but I included them since they were closest to the polish's true color.

Oh, and I have my laptop back so this is my first post from my completely revamped computer!!! I love having it back, and I'm glad to be back here and blogging!! See you lovelies around!!

Delicate Elegance

I love the combo I'm wearing today. I could wear it forever...and that's saying a lot. I have an entirely full Helmer with overflow into 2 Melmer drawers...and one Helmer drawer is entirely dedicated to indies! So today's combo is seriously that beautiful, although I'm sure you wouldn't be able to see all the beauty just from my pics. Enough blabbering from me, you want to know what's on my nails! The pics are 2 coats of Zoya Avery, one coat of Sonnetarium Snowfall, a coat of Glitter Food from Nail Pattern Boldness, all topped with Cult Nails Wicked Fast. It came out a tad thick for my liking, especially since I had to file my nails down to complete nubbins, but I still love it!

Hope you like this combo as much as I do! And apologies for the shoddy cleanup...I did this at work this morning at about 4 AM...before I managed to get sick.
