French Tip....even better

I took some better pics with my webcam while I was at work, so I decided to upload them. Of course, there is still some blue residue on my fingernail, but who cares? I had already messed up the tip, so I was over it.
Up close, you can see the pearly shimmer from China Glaze's Heaven.
This is the most accurate I could get the Sally Hansen polish I used for the tips. It's almost red, but in dimmer light it can pass for a fuschia or hot pink.
Ok, I'm done taking pictures of my nails for the day. I'm off to decide what the nail polish themes of each day will be.

Tuesday's French Tip

I think I'll have different manicure styles for the days I do my nails. I'll probably have a fun style for the weekends, french tips for tuesdays and possibly fridays, pink for wednesdays, and thursday blues. We'll see how well I can keep up with this. On to today's manicure!!!

I applied two coats of Sally Hansen's nail hardener (my nails are peeling like crazy so this is a must for me). After letting that dry, I applied one coat of China Glaze Heaven. I let that dry completely and used the actual french tip stickers for painting my tips with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Caribbean Coral. I started messing around and ended up putting a line of glitter underneath the french tip using Kiss Nail Art paint. I then added a coat of China Glaze Love Letters. I topped all that off with a pretty thick coat of Seche Vite, which I totally love!!! It just has a pretty strong smell, but I dipped my fingernails in cold water after I finished, so I didn't smell it for too long.

Now, as you scroll down to see the pics, you will see my funky index finger. I messed up on the tip because I smudged it and so I wasn't planning on keeping it for long, so I decided to try and see how the Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen worked over this top coat. So there is blue residue on my skin and my nail where I tried to scratch off the pen for pics. Just ignore my index finger. Enjoy!

I've been reading polish blogs for the past week or so and I've realized that my polish wishlist is growing! I'll try to list as many as I can remember off the top of my head.

Orly polish in Royal Navy
Essie Van D'Go, Mint Candy Apple, and Tart Deco

My First Tape Manicure

Last night I decided to try my first tape manicure, and I love it!!! I even got my friends hooked on it. I love the colors uses and the diagonal addition of the teal color.
Colors used: China Glaze Tree Hugger & Shower Together.
It's not perfect, but I'm happy with how it came out for my first time.
The colors look slightly cooler on camera, so if you're thinking about buying these colors, I say go ahead because they're awesome!!

Side note: Rite Aid was having a sale on Wet n' Wild and Sally Hansen nail polishes. Wet n' Wilds were buy one get one free and Sally Hansens were BOGO 1/2 off.
Pictured Here from L to R: Rain Check (purple-blue duochrome), Dream Poppy (hot pink/fuschia creme),
Grey Area (grey-purple creme), Caribbean Coral (coral creme with slight shimmer)

Cutesy Manicure

So the yellow I used for this manicure reminded me of Easter a little bit. It is China Glaze in Lemon Fizz. I totally love this color!!!  Anyways, sorry for chipping since I didn't decide to take pics until I had already cleaned off the other hand.
On my ring finger is China Glaze in Recycle with LaRosa black Crackle over it. All nails are coated with LaRosa Crackle Top Coat. This sucks unless you are actually using it over a crackle. Made my nails all bumpy. Ick. But I loved the colors nonetheless. Hope you enjoy!!
